Every Car that Qualifies for the Electric Car Discount
The Australian Government has introduced the Electric Car Discount to bring down the costs of electric vehicles. This incentive offers drivers the ability to run their eligible electric car 100% pre-tax and FBT-free with a novated lease.
To be eligible, the car must:
- Electric or plug-in hybrid
- Valued up to the luxury car tax threshold for fuel efficient vehicles ($89,332 FY23/24)
- First made available for use on or after 1 July, 2022.
